Imaging control capabilities for 3D Conformal, Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) and dynamic targeting for Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT) are integrated in Varian’s 4D Integrated Treatment Console. The 4D console streamlines the front end of the treatment process by integrating controls of the linear accelerator, multi-leaf collimator (MLC) and electronic portal imagery into a single workstation. The system supports advanced imaging, including image acquisition.
