October 23, 2012 – Sony Electronics’ Medical Systems Division is announcing the availability of its full line of diagnostic medical imaging monitors for radiology. The displays are 510(k) cleared for use in general review of images from every modality including CR/DR, CT, MRI and full-field digital mammography (FFDM) studies. With these new monitors, Sony is further expanding its footprint in radiology adding to its already long list of technology offerings including recording devices, printers, LCD displays and other essential equipment for medical applications.
