iSite PACS, which was acquired when Philips purchased Stentor Inc., will be showcased. The system can be sold with a unique "pay-per-study" business model that enables customers to purchase PACS services without a major software or infrastructure investment.

The Continuum MR Compatible Infusion System provides an expanded set of measurements for clinicians to effectively work with a larger selection of medications, sedatives and anesthetic agents to provide quality patient care.
The new features simplify the infusion system and reduce the potential for confusion and programming errors. The updated infusion system introduces a new dose selection program, Non-Weight Dose, to assist in dose calculation for drugs not dependent on patient weight.

American Mammographics has developed the new S.O.F.T. Paddle for Screening Mammography. S.O.F.T. Paddle is the "Special Optimized Full Tilt" compression paddle and is used as an alternative to the conventional flat compression paddle in screening mammography for superior compression of the mid- and anterior-breast with less patient discomfort.

Imaging control capabilities for 3-D Conformal, Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) and dynamic targeting for Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT) are integrated in Varian’s 4D Integrated Treatment Console.

The 4D Localization System is a target localization platform based on detection of AC electromagnetic markers, called Beacon transponders. Beacon transponders send signals to the 4D localization system that generate objective location instructions to the radiation therapist to register the patients treatment target to isocenter prior to treatment.

The volume ultrasound system Voluson 730 with Tomographic Ultrasound Imaging (TUI) has been enhanced.
Similar to CT or MR, TUI allows clinicians to view up to nine parallel slices of an ultrasound volume dataset on one dynamic display. In addition, it provides greater information in both static 3-D and real-time 4-D views off of the volume dataset, applicable in particular to fetal heart exams where TUI, combined with Spatio-Temporal Image Correlation (STIC) technology, allows clinicians to acquire and then review a comprehensive exams, including fetal heart views.

SONOLINE 60 has been upgraded a notch to SONOLINE G60 S Ultrasound System Release 2006, which will be shipped to customers this March. SONOLINE G60 S makes gains on fourSight 4-D ultrasound technology by combining rapid volume acquisition and rendering rates with streamlined workflow, plus it is equipped with tools for analysis and quantification of obstetrical, gynecological and general imaging exams. The new P9-4 phased array transducer enhances neonatal and pediatric applications.

The Aplio XV now offers Expanded Differential Tissue Harmonics, a patented, proprietary harmonic technique especially helpful with larger, difficult to scan patients, on a broader range of transducers.
The Xario’s new 4-D imaging feature provides users with clear, continuously updated, moving images that allow real-time visualization of anatomy. Introduced at AIUM 2005, the Xario has already been upgraded to include features from Toshiba’s Aplio system, such as Advanced Dynamic Flow, Panoramic View and Advanced Contour Tracking for cardiology.

A newly designed endocavity needle guide fitting the E8C, E721, E8C-RS, IC5-9H, MTZ and MZ GE Healthcare transducers has been introduced. CIVCO’s Endocavity Needle Guidance Systems are designed to correspond with on-screen software guidelines, offering physicians real-time visualization for precise and accurate placement during procedures.
