Dynamic Imaging will debut its IntegradWeb RIS/PACS, an all inclusive, unified solution for ambulatory imaging centers and radiology group practices, at SIIM 2007 in Providence, RI.

Integrating end-to-end Web-based workflow leveraging, the IntegradWeb RIS/PACS architectural platform allows Dynamic Imaging to offer ambulatory facilities a powerful, unified radiology desktop. Best–practice workflow includes scheduling through billing, fueled by the industry's number one ranked ambulatory PACS by KLAS.

NovaRad Corp. will release NovaPACS 6.6 with embedded MIP (maximum intensity projection) and MPR (multiplanar reconstruction) tools to build and view 3-D images directly from the PACS workstation at SIIM 2007.

The MIP and MPR tools embedded in NovaPACS reportedly eliminate the need for radiologists to do post-processing reconstructions from the modalities and for technologists to redo reconstructions specified by the radiologists. Radiologists can now quickly reconstruct any study they want in any format they want right from NovaPACS.

PACSGEAR Inc. will introduce the PACSGEAR MediaWriter, a distributed CD/DVD burning solution that writes DICOM files to portable media, at SIIM 2007 in Providence, RI. MediaWriter reportedly gives hospitals, outlying departments and imaging centers a DICOM distribution solution that is easy to configure, deploy and maintain.
