The newly enhanced SOMATOM Emotion produces detailed, high-quality images with a slice thickness as small as 0.5mm and with accelerated image reconstruction times. The CT system addresses the demands of smaller hospitals and diagnostic imaging centers and fits in 60 square feet.
Its engineering (air-cooled and durable X-ray tube) and minimal power requirements mean it works under demanding clinical schedules, the company says.

June 21, 2007 - Twinhead Corp. recently announced the renaming of its North American/Latin American sales and marketing arm to GammaTech Computer Corp. The company will focus on expanding distribution of the company’s Durabook, Slimnote and other notebook PCs to multiple channels throughout the Americas.

Until the transition to the GammaTech name is complete later this year, the company will retain both the GammaTech and Twinhead corporate names.
