The new Kodak Directview Classic and Elite CR Systems are designed to perform a wide range of exams using standard Kodak Directview CR cassettes. The new systems include automatic image rendering that reportedly eliminates the need for technologists to identify each exam projection and allows users to create customized settings for image presentation (by exam type/body part). These systems also incorporate new image processing software.
