November 1, 2012 — TomTec Imaging Systems GmbH announced U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for its new 2-D Cardiac Performance Analysis MR (2-D CPA MR) software solution for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

At RSNA 2012, Philips will highlight updates to its IntelliSpace PACS (picture archiving and communications system). The image management and distribution solution has technology that gives any physician in the enterprise access to full fidelity images within three seconds – even in environments with limited network bandwidth.
