I recently attended the 2023 AIMed Global Summit, which focused on artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare, in San Diego. During the summit, many leading experts discussed the various ways that AI is being implemented in healthcare. What struck me was the number of presenters who had a personal story behind what led them to pursue this path in life. Weaving in this personal narrative, I feel, brings a unique depth and passion to the work being done.


Healthcare is constantly evolving, finding new ways to innovate and advance digital tools and technology. With this comes the need for transformation to keep up with these advancements. ITN spoke with Anne Snowdon, RN, PhD, FAAN, to find out more about the steps needed for this transformation and what we can expect to see in the future of healthcare.



There are many ways to serve to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

This applies to my work in the radiology industry and as a minority advocating for health equity. My hope is that the healthcare industry will adopt this same vision and strive for better patient care.



Whether it’s a hospital, stand-alone imaging center or outpatient care facility, it’s almost certain they’re feeling the impact of the global radiologist shortage.
