See Possibilities Together

RSNA 2019 will delve into the possibilities of imaging by featuring an expanded artificial intelligence presence this yea

See Possibilities Together is the theme for the Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) 105th meeting and scientific assembly, and this year invites attendees to experience the hands-on, cutting-edge technology of artificial intelligence (AI), 3-D printing and virtual reality … and a whole lot more. The meeting will take place at Chicago’s McCormick Place Dec. 1-6, 2019.

RSNA 2019 will delve into the possibilities of imaging by featuring an expanded artificial intelligence presence this year. Debuting in a new, larger space on a lower level in the North Building, the showcase expansion allows RSNA to create a central hub of AI activities for RSNA attendees. “Many RSNA meeting attendees seek out AI subject matter,” said Steve Drew, RSNA assistant executive director of scientific assembly, informatics and corporate relations. “Creating an encompassing showcase on artificial intelligence for exhibitors, educators and researchers will create a dynamic environment for our attendees.”

Included in this AI destination area will be more than 100 companies focused on AI products and solutions, covering more than 40,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space. A larger open-air theater located in the center of the showcase will feature thirty-nine 20-minute vendor presentations on various AI topics throughout the week. The hands-on RSNA Deep Learning Classroom will offer 14 courses for practicing radiologists to help better understand the clinical relevance of AI. In addition, a new classroom will allow vendors to demonstrate their products in a hands-on environment, and a special exhibit will host a demonstration of emerging data technologies and the data standards that enable them.
