January 9, 2015 — Blackford Analysis announced that its software has been successfully integrated into a tool developed by Massachusetts General Hospital’s Tumor Imaging Metrics Core for its Precision Imaging Metrics system that helps radiologists and oncologists coordinate to generate clinical trial imaging results with enhanced efficiency and quality.

The Precision Imaging Metrics team has implemented Blackford’s MatchedCrosshairs functionality, which enables radiologists to simply click on a location in any scan to instantly bring up the same location on multiple scans from different times and/or different modalities (e.g. CT with MRI).

In addition to internal use, the Mass General’s Precision Imaging Metrics system with the integrated Blackford registration tool has also been rolled out to Cancer Centers at Yale University and the University of Washington in Seattle, and is in the process of being implemented at the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah.
