Viking Systems Inc., a designer of 3D and 2D high-performance surgical visualization systems, has launched the Viking Systems ViCam Vision System for monitoring, managing and recording complex open surgical procedures for cardiology.
With ViCam, the surgeon, anesthesiologists, echo cardiologists, and other surgical team members can continuously observe and monitor the surgical procedure. Northwestern Memorial Hospital near Chicago already has three ViCam Vision Systems currently in use for mitral valve procedures and coronary artery bypass grafts.
