UltraFast Doppler reduces exam time, presents results quickly

February 25, 2015 — SuperSonic Imagine announced a partnership with U.S.-based Unetixs Vascular Inc. to bring SuperSonic Imagine’s technology to more customers in the vascular market.

SuperSonic Imagine’s ultrasound system combines high image quality and UltraFast Doppler across a breadth of vascular applications. Conventional Doppler ultrasound requires two separate exams for imaging and measurement. UltraFast Doppler combines Color Flow Imaging and Pulsed Wave Doppler into one exam. This combination provides physicians with exam results simultaneously, which can increase patient throughput and diagnostic confidence, as well as provide a better patient experience. The UltraFast technology has been shown to significantly reduce exam time in long and complex situations such as kidney or liver transplant follow-up. This technology is also used in a wide range of additional clinical situations such as detecting blockages, verifying placement of stents and evaluating artery walls.

Unetixs’s product line consists of noninvasive vascular testing equipment such as the Revo 1100 and the MultiLab Series, ranging from highly advanced systems to self-contained, low-cost diagnostic stations. These diagnostic systems and accessories provide early detection of peripheral arterial disease (PAD).
