August 13, 2010 - In an effort to help customers increase utilization, while reducing scheduled downtime for planned maintenance, Siemens unveils its comprehensive service program that enables delivery of preventive maintenance and system updates and modifications outside of normal operating hours.

The industry’s only comprehensive after-hours maintenance program, Off-Peak Advantage allows for contract customers to schedule their planned maintenance and updates during off-peak hours, eliminating downtime for planned service calls.

Off-Peak Advantage is available for Siemens product families in angiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance, molecular imaging and oncology services. The program is available to service customers with Performance (Silver, Gold, or Platinum) or Shared Basic plans. Extended services hours are weekdays, 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., and weekends, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
