Precyse Expands Transcription, Remote Coding Services to Include Automated Speech Recognition

June 28, 2007 – Precyse Solutions, a leader in health management information services and solutions, recently announced the expansion of its transcription and remote coding services to include Automated Speech Recognition (ASR).

The new ASR technology is built directly into Precyse’s workflow engine, making it transparent to the dictator, the transcriptionologist and the coder, while creating tremendous efficiencies and productivity improvements for the hospital.

The Precyse ASR offering brings together M’Modal’s AnyModal conversational documentation services (CDS) technology services platform, with the PrecyseNet workflow engine, reportedly the only platform in the industry to combine coding and transcription software and CDS technology into a single, Web-based platform. When combined with Precyse’s electronic signature and document versioning capabilities, the Precyse ASR offering provides both a scalable transcription and remote coding technology that utilizes speech recognition and speech-understanding technologies to efficiently translate dictated recordings into structured and encoded documents.
