Technology named Category Leader in Enterprise Advanced Visualization Software

Royal Philips IntelliSpace Portal PACS Advanced Visualization RSNA 2014

March 3, 2014 — Royal Philips’s IntelliSpace Portal was named a Category Leader in Enterprise Advanced Visualization Software in the 2013 Best in KLAS: Software and Services report.

According to the KLAS report titled "Advanced Visualization 2013: How Advanced Is It?," on a 100 point scale the Philips IntelliSpace Portal received an 86.2 overall performance score. Users reported an excellent overall user experience and rated Philips best in service and support with strong involvement from Philips executives. Several Philips customers using multiple advanced visualization software products said they would prefer to work with Philips over competitor's products and ranked Philips IntelliSpace Portal among the top performers when it comes to ease of use.

IntelliSpace Portal 6 and IntelliSpace PACS are part of the Philips IntelliSpace family of clinical informatics solutions and were featured at HIMSS14 Annual Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, Fla. Both solutions are part of the growing portfolio within Philips recently-launched Healthcare Informatics Solutions and Services Group, which offers consulting and solutions services to hospitals and health systems.

IntelliSpace Portal 6 offers clinical coverage, streamlined workflow and continuous evolution of advanced visualization and analysis capabilities with a single solution. The solution allows clinicians to access, review, analyze, diagnose and present images from multiple vendors (depending on the local market) quickly, efficiently and collaboratively — virtually anywhere, anytime.

IntelliSpace PACS is an image and information management system that delivers on-demand diagnostic-quality images over existing hospital networks, advanced radiology reading stations for radiologists and long-term storage. The IntelliSpace PACS solution is designed to drive interoperability and enhance productivity. The solution encompasses a growing portfolio of applications that guide informed decisions with advanced clinical capabilities, providing relevant data and collaboration throughout the enterprise.
