June 24, 2008 – Imaging Dynamics Company Ltd. said today HealthPartners Medical Group of Indiana and Michigan have purchased IDC’s 1600 Plus X-Series DR system.

HealthPartners is a multi-specialty physician group with facilities in Michigan City, Chesterton, LaPorte, and Westville, IN and New Buffalo, MI. The system will be installed in the group’s new orthopedic facility in their Michigan City location.

HealthPartners Medical Group is comprised of more than 50 physicians offering adult, pediatric and specialized medical care. The practice is a member of the Sisters of Saint Francis Health Services, Inc., with sister hospitals in Indiana and Illinois.

“We evaluated upgrading our analog X-ray to a computed radiography system, but it quickly became clear that we could generate greater throughput and treat more patients with fewer staff by implementing IDC digital radiography,” said Cheryl Stanley, surgical specialties department manager for HealthPartners Group. “In addition, IDC’s price for DR was competitive with CR, making the purchase of the X-Series a good decision in regards to both budget and patient care.”
