Epocrates Launches Free Cardiac Mobile Apps

March 16, 2012 — Epocrates is releasing two new, free mobile device applications for cardiologists during the American College of Cardiology (ACC) 2012 meeting.  

The Cardiology Tool by Epocrates helps cardiologists perform essential day-to-day cardiology calculations more accurately and efficiently. It provides easy point-of-care access to more than 25 calculators and tools. It features quickly locate calculators using the search, saves frequently used calculators with "favorite" feature and references last calculators accessed.

Echocardiography Atlas by Epocrates serves as an introductory learning tool for students and residents, or a comprehensive visual reference for cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and other clinicians. It will help them become more familiar with normal and abnormal echocardiograms through access to 250 annotated images and 189 videos, encompassing a wide range of cardiac pathology.

Each chapter includes annotated images and videos associated with the most common cardiovascular diseases. Chapters include:
