December 5, 2008 – Del Medical Imaging demonstrated its TITAN product line in three digital radiographic (DR) room configurations at RSNA.

The TITAN OTC is a traditional Del radiographic room that includes an elevating table and wall-mounted chest stand with ceiling or a floor-mounted tube stand. The TITAN SP is a new Del configuration consisting of a flexible tilting wall bucky with an overhead tube crane. The TITAN II — still awaiting FDA 510(k) — is a new Del U-Arm positioner that the company says is more flexible and accommodating than other U-Arms.
All three configurations feature Del Medical’s new Gemini digital selenium flat panel technology that was introduced in July 2008. Gemini flat panels reportedly can be easily integrated into Del’s tables, allowing existing customers to upgrade or field retrofit their digital imaging system. The Gemini family of full-field portable DR flat panels is all DICOM compatible, along with the DelWorks software interface.
