Agfa HealthCare announced the installation of its DR 800 multipurpose X-ray room at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, part of the Chesapeake Regional Healthcare network, in Chesapeake, Va. The system was installed and began patient exams in August 2019. The DR 800 was chosen by the hospital for its flexibility, usability and image quality.

Agfa Healthcare has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for its DR 800 multipurpose digital radiography (DR) imaging system with tomosynthesis. Offering one solution for radiography, fluoroscopy, multi-slice and advanced clinical applications, the DR 800 supports the role of radiology in the value-based care organization with increased versatility, functionality and efficiency.

Agfa HealthCare announced it has collaborated in delivering a system-wide DoseMonitor automated software implementation, integrated with their IMPAX platform, to the Veterans Integrated Service Networks 19 (VISN 19). Contracts for DoseMonitor have already been awarded by VISN 21 and VISN 23.
