The DX-D 400, by Agfa HealthCare, is a DR X-ray solution (work in progress). Different configurations are possible from the basic analog with hard console, over manual digital with soft console, up to fully automatic digital with auto-positioning and soft console. It can be used with film, CR cassettes or with the company’s DR detectors, offering a smooth upgrade path to digital.
The DX-D 100 mobile, fully motorized DR X-ray unit (work in progress) from Agfa HealthCare. This heavy-duty mobile DR solution complements Agfa HealthCare's range of DR solutions. Several portable DR detectors, such as the DX-D 20, can be used with this unit. It is operated from a 15-inch touch screen and has excellent battery autonomy and generator power, to handle heavy workloads when needed.
The DX-M, by Agfa HealthCare, is a CR solution that can handle mammography, needle-based detector plates (NIP), and standard phosphor plates (PIP). The dedicated mammography needle-based detector is compatible with existing breast imaging modalities, providing cost efficiency.
October 26, 2010 - Agfa Healthcare has acquired Insight Agents GmbH in Germany, allowing the company to expand its current offering of contrast media consumables. Insight Agents is a European developer, producer and distributor of generic imaging contrast agents. It products are not available in the United States.
