INFINITT North America (INA) has INFINITT Smart-NET, an applications service provider (ASP) version of PACS that reportedly allows even small physician practices to go filmless. The company said it may be the only approach to PACS that can be scaled for low imaging volumes, extending electronic imaging benefits to physician practices.
SourceMedical has entered a partnership with Medical Web Technologies (MWT) to offer One Medical Passport to its Vision, AdvantX and SurgiSource customers. The SourcePlus Medical Passport will allow facilities using SourceMedical applications the ability to have their patients complete their own registration and preoperative medical history securely via the Internet.
