September 5, 2008 - GE Healthcare today said it launched a new ultrasound system for radiology and vascular applications, the LOGIQ E9, which fuses ultrasound images with images from other imaging modalities like CT and MR.

The ProVision Workstation is designed to streamline radiology workflow through its one-click access of the Cerner Multimedia Foundation, a single repository for all types of images across multiple care venues. The system is part of Cerner’s suite of radiology solutions including Integrated Digital Dictation and ProVision Web for integration with the electronic medical record.
