Medison to Launch New Ultrasound with 3D/4D Enhancements

September 5, 2008 - Medison Co. will launch its new ACCUVIX V20 model in the second half of this year, offering 2D, 3D and 4D technologies for increased efficiency and enhanced diagnostic capabilities.

The technology-intensive new product was showcased at major international conferences and exhibitions, starting with the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetric and Gynecology 2008 in Chicago in August.

ACCUVIX V20 is the second product in the new generation series following the ACCUVIX V10 in 2007. The V20 provides a variety of advanced 2D, 3D and 4D technologies targeted at increasing efficiency and diagnostic confidence including 3DXI, XI VOCAL, OVIX (Oblique View eXtended), Color STIC and Inversion 3D.

VolumeOS, the fundamental operating system of ACCUVIX V20, provides reportedly high 3D/4D performance through a simplified intuitive interface to insure efficient diagnostic interaction for both the novice as well as experienced 3D user.

In addition, to numerous imaging advancements, the ergonomic design of ACCUVIX V20 delivers form and function. The high-resolution flat screen monitor with articulated arm provides the optimal environment of comfort and functionality when performing the ultrasound examination.

The simplified console design boasts a large 10.4 LCD intuitive touch panel for efficient system interaction allowing the user to effortlessly navigate through software functions with ease.
