The system offers advanced visualization capabilities, workflow automation tools, superior ergonomics and Fly Thru and Smart Fusion technologies.

February 9, 2012 — IsoRay Inc., a medical technology company with specialty in seed brachytherapy and medical radioisotope applications, said that the findings of a Cleveland Clinic study add to evidence supporting the efficacy of brachytherapy.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations are especially challenging when applied to the pediatric population. The unique technical challenges are related to signal-to-noise (SNR), as pediatric protocols tend to require a small field of view (FoV), high resolution and fast acquisition times. A 3-D view does more than make for exciting movies in a theater; it can also improve the care of animals. The Chicago Zoological Society’s (CZS) Brookfield Zoo is the first North American zoo to use revolutionary 3-D imaging technology with on-site digital radiology and computed tomography (CT) equipment in its state-of-the-art animal hospital. The new technology allows the Society’s veterinarians to enhance two-dimensional CT scans, MRIs and ultrasounds with 3-D models that will enable them to better treat zoo animals.

F37 was developed focusing on contributing to primary care, such as in clinics and examination institutions. The new, compact product aims to expand sales boundaries in developing countries and to pioneer new users of diagnostic ultrasound.
