A new novel imaging technique measurably improves upon current prostate imaging and may have significant implications for future treatment of prostate cancer patients, according to a report in the Jan. 6, 2015, issue of the journal Prostate Cancer and Prostatic Disease.

Ohio Governor John Kasich signed Ohio’s breast density inform bill into law (HB 394, Section 3702.40). Ohio becomes the 20th state to enact such a bill, which requires healthcare providers to inform women if they have dense breast tissue, which may negatively impact the ability to clearly diagnose breast cancer. In a study published in the journal PLOS ONE, a team of researchers from Inserm led by Paul Hofman has just made a significant advance in the area of early diagnosis of invasive cancers.
