Nine-time award winner MOSAIQ Oncology Information System offers clinicians unprecedented levels of automation, mobility and more time with patients

February 7, 2024 — Elekta announced that its MOSAIQ Oncology Information System (OIS) has earned the “Best in KLAS” designation in the 2024 Best in KLAS: Software and Services Report. MOSAIQ ranked first in the Oncology (Radiation) category. Based on feedback from thousands of providers, awards are based on evaluations collected by KLAS, an independent research firm.

A fixture in many of the world’s leading cancer care facilities, MOSAIQ is the multidisciplinary backbone of the company’s Elekta ONE unified software environment. Elekta ONE brings all Elekta software products, solutions and services under one umbrella and includes radiation therapy planning, comprehensive treatment management and delivery.

"In an era driven by AI, data, and software, we take pride in offering solutions that enable the providers we serve to elevate care for their patients," says Carlos Castilleja, Executive Vice President, Region Americas. “We remain steadfast in our commitment to be a trusted partner and adapt to our customers' evolving needs by providing unparalleled service and support across all of our products, including Elekta ONE.”

Anish Patankar, SVP and Head of Elekta’s Oncology Software Solutions Business Line adds: “The introduction of Elekta ONE, a software as a service (SaaS) offering, demonstrates our focus on personalization, integration and a streamlined user experience that makes it easy for our customers to boost productivity and focus on treating their patients. Winning this prestigious award, and the increased use of MOSAIQ globally, is the result of our software investment in recent years. We see how accelerating innovation is having a direct benefit to healthcare providers and those they treat.”

The 2024 report showed that MOSAIQ outperformed competitors in several categories. User feedback was measured across several areas, including culture, loyalty, operations, product, relationships, and value.

Elekta will receive the award on March 11 during the “Best in KLAS Awards Show” at HIMSS24 in Orlando.
