SyntheticMR announced that their product SyMRI NEURO and Philips SmartSpeed can now be combined.

July 18, 2022 — SyntheticMR announced that their product SyMRI NEURO and Philips SmartSpeed can now be combined. The powerful combination of AI with Philips SmartSpeed and SyntheticMR’s quantitative imaging solution can provide multiple contrast images, tissue segmentations and volumetric data in less than three minutes.

SyntheticMR, an innovative software solutions company for MRI announced today the combination between their product SyMRI NEURO and Philips SmartSpeed. The joint offering will enable users of Philips scanners to do a complete MRI scan of the brain in less than three minutes* while getting access to the full range of contrast weighted images, including T1W, T2W, FLAIR, quantitative R1, R2 and PD maps and tissue segmentations with myelin-correlated volumes, that are unique for SyMRI NEURO.

“With SyMRI NEURO we already enhance neuroradiologists’ efficiency and diagnostic confidence. Thanks to the combined offering with Philips SmartSpeed, users will now benefit from an even faster workflow, increasing their efficiency further, while keeping all the unique features of SyMRI NEURO,” says Ulrik Harrysson, CEO at SyntheticMR.

“We are thrilled about this powerful combination of Philips SmartSpeed deep-learning acceleration and SyMRI quantitative imaging, allowing our customers to get more diagnostic information within a very short time. We believe this is the way forward to boost efficiency and adoption of quantitative MR and eventually move towards more personalized exams and outcomes for the patients”. Gwen Herigault, Global Clinical Programs leader. Philips MR Business.

The combination of SyMRI NEURO and Philips Smartspeed is compatible with multiple generations of Philips 1.5T and 3.0T MRI scanner systems*.

* Based on data from five cases with healthy volunteers (not in a clinical setting). Scan times may vary on a case by case basis.
