medQ Inc. to show new virtual check-in solution among other safety and time-saving innovations at RSNA 2020

October 29, 2020 — medQ Incannounced that they will be participating in the RSNA 2020 annual meeting starting on Nov. 29 through Dec. 5. medQ plans to exhibit three recently improved aspects of its leading Imaging Workflow automation suite, Q/ris 3000, that will increase operational efficiency, simplify teleradiology efforts, and streamline radiology reporting.

“We understand that this unique year has highlighted new challenges for many of our colleagues across the world,” said John Norman, CEO for medQ, “Not only will these innovations help patients and staff feel safe, but they will also ease the burden on imaging teams while empowering them accomplish more.”

Increasing Operational Efficiency Q/ris 3000 will now feature a 100% virtual check-in and arrival process. Q/ris eCheck-in will allow patients to easily fill in necessary paperwork from their computer or smart device as well as notify the imaging team of their arrival with a simple tap.  This new process will save time for the patients and imaging team while also limiting all parties to unnecessary exposure.

Simplifying Teleradiology – medQ’s Q/ris Reading Services Module (Q/ris RSM) easily incorporates outside exams from an unlimited number of sites onto a single Universal Worklist, enters orders automatically, keeps patient procedure histories, and automatically distributes finished reports in the sending site’s preferred format.   The Q/ris RSM is easy to use, quick to deploy and integrates with any EMR, RIS, HIS or PACS.  The Quality Control applet bundled with the Q/ris RSM will allow sending sites to quickly add documents and commentary to the exams as well as make necessary modifications before sending to the reading group.

Streamlining Radiology Reporting – Reporting PLUS+, medQ’s complete reporting environment for radiologists, now features an AI-powered workload Assignment Engine.  The Assignment Engine will automatically distribute exam workload to radiologists based on availability, expertise, and a number of other customizable factors.

“The idea is to help imaging teams do more with less,” said Roy Vincent, RT, Vice President of Sales for medQ. “These automated workflows will allow leaders to increase their team’s productivity while improving the patient experience.”
