July 27, 2026 — Vanderbilt Health and Siemens Healthineers have entered into a multi-year, $87 million Value Partnership1 to modernize and standardize diagnostic imaging, radiation oncology and related workforce development programs across Vanderbilt Health’s hospitals in the Nashville area. The agreement establishes a strategic framework for performance innovation, technology planning, installation support and service operations, aligning strategy with clinical and operational goals. The relationship will streamline technology for select equipment purchases and upgrades while planned new ventures enhance operations.

Vanderbilt Health and Siemens Healthineers also will explore opportunities involving data infrastructure, AI-enabled technologies and workflow innovation in radiology and personalized medicine. These efforts are intended to support clinical teams, improve operational efficiency and develop care models for wider application.
Providing Advanced Technology
Under the agreement, Siemens Healthineers will provide advanced technology for magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, molecular imaging, interventional radiology and radiation oncology systems for Vanderbilt Health locations including University Hospital and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The Value Partnership is intended to strengthen Vanderbilt Health’s patient-centered approach to personalized care delivery, enhance the patient experience and further efforts to improve health outcomes for communities across Middle Tennessee.
