September 3, 2008 - Aurora Imaging Technology Inc. said its Aurora 1.5Tesla Dedicated Breast MRI System is now available to patients in northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire at Aurora Breast MRI of Beverly Hospital.
The Aurora Breast MRI of Beverly Hospital is located within the Breast Health Center at Beverly Hospital at Danvers, providing specialized service and easy access to advanced imaging technology for its patients. Since the Aurora System�s installation earlier this summer, the center has scheduled patients daily for breast MRI screening, said the hospital.
"The Aurora System plays a valuable role in the diagnosis of breast cancer at our facility, and has been instrumental in the staging and treatment planning of patients with recent diagnoses of breast disease,� said Peter Curatolo, M.D., radiologist and acting medical director, Aurora Breast MRI of Beverly Hospital.
