September 27, 2010 — A developer of healthcare IT solutions designed to optimize workflow through rich interoperability of healthcare systems has launched a marketing and public relation campaign to elevate awareness of the company and its position within the healthcare industry. KNB Communications will handle the campaign for Poiesis Informatics.

“We look forward to embarking on a new stage of business development, marketing and public relations,” said Claudine Martin, Poiesis president and cofounder. “Since beginning the company in 2007, we’ve built a strong customer base and are at an ideal position to expand our business and create a heightened awareness of our competitive advantage.”

Formally as part of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Radiology Informatics Department, and working under the direction of Dr. Paul Chang, the founding partners gained extensive experience in healthcare software development and professional services. By offering user-driven software design and development, Poiesis has been able to provide a customized and optimized solution to a growing customer base that includes some of the country’s top hospitals and healthcare organizations.
