April 8, 2015 — Vital Images Inc. announced the release of VioSuite Image Management and Vitality Solutions Business Intelligence, giving healthcare administrators a robust set of tools to improve system-wide image access and image data analytics. Vital will introduce the VioSuite and Vitality Solutions portfolios at the 2015 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society annual conference (HIMSS15), April 13-15 in Chicago.

VioSuite Image Management is a portfolio of flexible products supporting a variety of image management strategies. The solution includes VioArchive, a vendor neutral archive (VNA) for unified storage and management of all imaging data created across all care operations, and VioStream, which grants federated access to images residing in disparate DICOM archives. Utilizing VioSuite along with Vital’s VitreaView enables full patient imaging access to clinicians, which improves operational efficiency and quality.

Imaging is a very effective method to diagnose diseases and improve clinical outcomes. In an environment demanding cost reductions and increased quality, while reducing government and payer contributions for imaging services, both issues and opportunities emerge. Vitality Solutions delivers imaging-centric business intelligence products and services, allowing health professionals to continuously improve operational efficiency and quality.

Two Vitality Solutions products being introduced at HIMSS15 are Vitality IQ Imaging Operations and Vitrea Vitality Business Intelligence. Vitality IQ delivers real-time access to critical business intelligence across an imaging department’s existing manufacturers, modalities, information systems and locations. By implementing Vitality IQ, health administrators are able to improve management of quality, productivity and resource utilization. Vitrea Vitality enables administrators to receive actionable insight into the health, performance and utilization of Vitrea imaging systems. Coming soon to the Vitality Solutions suite, CT Vitality delivers a comprehensive protocol management solution that enables protocol approval, distribution and tracking for Toshiba scanners.
