Vision RT Increases AlignRT Sales to TrueBeam Facilities in U.S.

September 30, 2011 — Vision RT announced it has increased sales of AlignRT, its 3-D imaging platform, to several advanced TrueBeam facilities in the United States in recent months. The company has found success in both academic and private sectors, including the following new customers:

University of Texas-Southwestern (UTSW) and UT at Tyler, Tyler, Texas; Thomas Jefferson University (TJU), Philadelphia, Pa.; Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio; Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia, Snellville (Vantage Oncology), Ga., and Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines, Iowa.

The AlignRT system allows for markerless patient setup, surveillance and respiratory gating during radiation therapy.

Vision RT’s latest product advances will be on live display at next week’s American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) meeting in Miami Beach, Oct. 2-4.
