Vision Reach Eliminates Delivery Challenges

AMICAS Inc. has released Vision Series PACS Version 5.0, a release representing advancements to the company’s image management software platform.
Vision Series PACS Version 5.0 features the Vision Reach software system, a module of the Vision Series PACS platform. The Vision Reach system was specifically designed to eliminate the challenge of radiology information delivery. With Vision Reach, AMICAS has set out to provide a tool designed for referring physicians. To meet this challenge, the system was designed to fit the way referring physicians work. It is highlighted by a zero install client free Web-based application, which eliminates installation and any client level application requirement. Vision Reach integrates the radiology report (from a RIS or reporting system) with key images (from PACS) and creates a single “multimedia” report.
