Treatment Planning Solution Offers 3D Conformal, WiMRT

LinaTech is expanding its Topslane brand to the U.S. Topslane’s WiMRT Treatment Planning System (Whole body IMRT) as it aims to make complex radiation treatment planning and communication simpler and more seamless for the dosimetrist, physicist and oncologist.

Topslane provides a complete package of planning modalities including conformal, forward and inverse planning techniques. Final plans can be exported to an optional DMLC (Dynamic Multi-leaf Collimator). The DMLC tools include both "Step-and-Shoot" and "Sliding Window" capabilities. The Integrated Automatic Image Fusion software for CT, PET and MRI images is standard. Topslane reportedly also interfaces with all major Linear Accelerator vendors and R&V (record and verify) systems.
