Thermo-Plastic Mask Protects Patients from Rough Edges

Thermo-Plastic Mask Protects Patients from Rough Edges

January 22, 2009 - New cushioned thermoplastic tape from Beekley Corp offers durability while providing ultimate patient protection and comfort throughout treatment.

New TenderTouch is soft, silky smooth 1-cm wide cushioned thermoplastic tape developed specifically to protect patients from the rough ragged edges of thermoplastic masks cut for comfort, claustrophobia, bolus, bite blocks and electron fields.

Quick and easy to apply, TenderTouch has scored edges that mold easily around corners and allow for larger piece applications over traditional methods, saving valuable time. It sticks consistently to the thermoplastic material throughout the entire treatment period from 4 to 8 weeks and has a durable marking surface for marking crosshairs, field borders, leveling lines and shielding marks that will not fall off during treatment. Latex free and hypoallergenic, TenderTouch is the perfect choice for those times when masks need to be cut for treatment.
