System Upgrade Demonstrates New Features for Image Management

Centering on the themes of enterprise workflow, open standards and native multispecialty support, System Release 5.30.1 will demo the following new features: Native Volume Rendering, which leverages the OpenGL graphics standard to manipulate 3-D volumes with high-quality ray-tracing in real time; an integrated administrative toolset that provides a collaborative environment for content management; and new physician tools to manage exams and increase productivity, including Personal Content Manager with JPEG2000, teleconferencing, TempNotes and an exam worklist.
