September 21, 2007 – STERIS Corp. and Questra Corp. recently announced the launch of the ProConnect Response Center.

The ProConnect center features remote equipment monitoring, priority technical support, and an array of on-line service tools. These are designed to improve productivity and operational efficiencies for healthcare and life science customers by leveraging an integrated systems approach to equipment management. STERIS Corp. has teamed with Questra Corporation to provide the infrastructure necessary to continuously monitor and evaluate equipment securely over the Internet. The ProConnect center uses the industry-proven Questra IDM Application Suite to send critical operational data directly to STERIS service professionals in order to expedite problem resolution.

In addition, the ProConnect Response Center combines remote equipment monitoring with functionality such as online parts purchasing, online service scheduling and web-based equipment performance dashboards. These tools can be used to maximize operational performance and enhance customer access to STERIS services. The ProConnect platform currently supports STERIS Century sterilizers, Amsco Lab 250 sterilizers, and Reliance Synergy washers.
