Sinmed Exhibits Treatment Couch for IMRT Prodedure

The Sinmed Mastercouch consists of a base that replaces most existing treatment couches. The base is then extended with a treatment module, dedicated to a specific treatment area.
There are storage systems to hang the modules on the wall when they are not being used to save space. The carbon fiber construction means there are no metal parts used in the treatment area and attenuation and build-up effect is kept at a minimum. The treatment modules weigh 4 kg and can be exchanged between treatments to prepare for the next patient. Existing positioning accessories can be attached to the indexed positioning pivots that are mounted along both sides of the couch.
