July 31, 2007 - Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics announced today that it has been selected by Amerinet, a purchasing organization in the healthcare industry, to provide a complete line of immunoassay, chemistry and automation solutions, reportedly offering a diversified product portfolio, tiered pricing schedule, a comprehensive menu and rapid turnaround of test results.

Hospitals in Amerinet's alliance will have access to the ADVIA family of chemistry systems, including the 2400, 1800 and 1200, the full line of immunoassay technology, including the ADVIA Centaur XP and CP systems, as well as the IMMULITE 1000, 2000, 2500 and automation solutions such as ADVIA WorkCell and ADVIA LabCell.

The ADVIA line of chemistry systems reportedly enables labs to perform high-volume testing and work more efficiently through its high-resolution touch screen, which delivers push-button operation.
