RSNA TEST Accessing Prior Exams Via Temporary Onsite Storage

InDex Archive solution has been upgraded, enabling immediate access to relevant prior exams through temporary onsite storage called the InDex Archive ExamReady feature.

The new feature will store prior exams in the InDex Nearline and Online configurations, allowing sites with or without RIS or PACS access to prior studies for immediate comparison and forwarding to specialized modality workstations. This is significant for cardiology and digital mammography images often read on dedicated or highly specialized workstations because connection to the enterprise PACS or network is not necessary.
