The Technical Exhibits will occupy the North and South Halls at McCormick Place, covering over 395,000 square feet of space

October 16, 2023 — The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) has announced highlights of the Technical Exhibits that will be featured at the 109th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting, RSNA 2023: Leading Through Change, held in Chicago at McCormick Place, Nov. 26 – 30.

The Technical Exhibits will occupy the North and South Halls at McCormick Place, covering over 395,000 square feet of space and providing a platform for the latest innovations in medical imaging, including artificial intelligence (AI), 3D printing, CT, MRI, mixed reality, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore products and solutions from hundreds of companies from across the industry.

“Exhibitors are excited about RSNA 2023,” said John P. Jaworski, C.E.M., RSNA assistant executive director of Meetings & Exhibition Services. “From large bellwether companies to small startups, this year will have nearly 700 companies, including over 100 first-time exhibitors, displaying a wide range of products and solutions in two large exhibit halls at McCormick Place. We have seen more companies from around the globe return to exhibit and exciting growth in the specialty exhibit areas. The RSNA 2023 Technical Exhibition will have many opportunities to explore and learn about the latest technological solutions in health care.”

AI continues to play a larger role in medical imaging. As the world’s leading professional radiology organization and the trusted source for science and education in the field, RSNA provides the expertise, practical guidance and vetted tools needed for the ethical application of AI technology in medical imaging. RSNA 2023 brings attendees the latest in AI research, education and technological advances.

In the South Hall, attendees can take advantage of the AI Showcase, sponsored by AIRS MedicalBayer Calantic Digital Solutions and Google Cloud, with 93 exhibitors who will demonstrate how AI enhances imaging quality, efficiency and outcomes. Located in the AI Showcase, the AI Theater will hold daily presentations from a wide variety of companies highlighting the new technologies that are fueling the future of medical imaging AI and host the recognition event for the winners of the RSNA 2023 Abdominal Trauma Detection AI Challenge.

Also in the AI Showcase is the Imaging AI in Practice demonstration, featuring new AI technologies and integration standards needed to embed AI into the diagnostic radiology workflow. The interactive exhibit will enable attendees to determine what is possible, identify the right questions to ask, and learn how to introduce and scale AI into their radiology practices.

Across from the AI Theater, attendees will find the RSNAI Resource Center. The center will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn and ask questions about a wide variety of RSNA-led or co-sponsored medical imaging AI initiatives, including the RSNA Imaging AI Certificate Program, the Medical Imaging and Data Resource Center (MIDRC) and RSNA’s online journal Radiology: Artificial Intelligence

Attendees can also stop by the Innovation Theater in the South Hall for daily industry presentations and a Center Stage presentation on Monday.

The North Hall will house the 3D Printing & Mixed Reality Showcase, returning this year with 23 exhibitors who will display how these technologies can create realistic models and simulations for education, diagnosis and treatment.

RSNA 2023 will also feature specialty exhibits, such as Educators Row and Recruiters Row, that will provide networking and learning opportunities for attendees. With a designated Career Resource Center, Recruiters Row will have over 40 recruiters and offer onsite job interviews and career-focused presentations.

“RSNA is the gathering place for top minds and talent in the radiology field,” Jaworski said. “Recruiters Row offers companies the perfect opportunity to engage with these thought leaders and innovators.”

The Technical Exhibits will be open Sunday, Nov. 26, through Wednesday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT. A Technical Exhibits Happy Hour will be held Tuesday, Nov. 28, from 2 to 5 p.m. with food, beverages, games and live music.
