January 23, 2012 — Radcal Corporation announced that the Leeds Test Objects cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) SedentexCT Mini phantom was available for sales within the United States.

This “Mini” phantom is used for routine daily verification procedures on cone beam CT machines. It is 160 mm in diameter by 144 mm long with a density of 1.20+/- 0.01 g/cm3. The body of the cylinder allows for noise/uniformity evaluations, and the test feature in the center of the cylinder is used to perform Pixel Intensity Value measurements.
