QSUM Breast Biopsy Disposables Receives New MRI Patent

July 25, 2013 — QSUM Biopsy Disposables LLC receives a new patent for the AccuFit MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) Coil draping provided for various breast imaging coils. This is QSUM’s fourth patent.

This latest patent received, U.S. patent (US 8,473,027 B2), provides MRI breast coils additional protection from pathogens between the inside surface of the breast coils and coil pads and a patient's breasts. The coil covers reduce clean-up time; delivers quick procedure turn-around time; and provides additional patient comfort.
