June 17, 2008 - The Premier healthcare alliance’s purchasing partners division last week recognized the winners of its third annual Pinnacle Award and Performance Award at the 2008 Premier Annual Breakthroughs Conference and Exhibition in Nashville, TN.

Premier’s Pinnacle and Performance Awards applaud the efforts of contracted suppliers in meeting or exceeding member healthcare organization service expectations. In selecting recipients, satisfaction and performance data are collected and scored over four successive calendar quarters. Feedback is provided during regular supplier business line reviews. Contracted suppliers scoring 95 percent or higher earn the Pinnacle Award; organizations scoring between 85 to 94 percent earn the Performance Award.
