April 18, 2008 - eHealth Global Technologies and HKS Medical Information Systems entered into an agreement to offer a fully integrated solution that is designed to streamline medical record management for transplant departments, now allowing users to have one user interface for all referred patient medical record requests.

The partnership combines the OTTR (Organ Transplant Tracking Record), a patient tracking application and electronic health record developed specifically to meet the needs of organ transplant centers, and eHealthConnect, a medical record management service that collects, digitizes, organizes, secures and stores outside patient records.

eHealth Global will retrieve, digitize and upload the record directly into the transplant center’s OTTR system. By encapsulating a PDF in an HL7 message, users can append existing patient records with outside data for a more complete electronic medical record. Images can also be collected, digitized and made available for viewing securely via eHealth Global’s eHealthViewer from within the OTTR application.
