To support radiologists in overcoming these challenges with its RapidConnect solution. RapidConnect is a core component in Sectra PACS, designed to allow physicians to cooperate and efficiently share the workload at full productivity from other hospitals or from home on a global basis, also for large volumes and poor networks.

Sectra announced U.S. patent 7,689,539 was today issued to Sectra for a method enabling multisite workflow and rapid image data delivery. The patent covers a cornerstone of the Sectra RapidConnect technology, namely retrieval of medical image data of differing dimensions and complexities.
