PACS Designed for Handling Extreme Data Sets Featured at JRC

April 2, 2008 - At the Japan Radiology Congress 2008 (JRC 2008), the Sectra Group will feature its next-generation PACS, the IDS7/dx, a high-end diagnostic workstation.

Sectra’s patent-pending technology for retrieving and displaying image data of extreme size reportedly eliminates problems encountered in working with large datasets. Optimized for efficient distribution images through advanced streaming technology and designed for variations in network quality, Sectra PACS is the ideal solution in a distributed reading scenario in which radiologists read images from multiple clinics, said the company.

As a part of the International Technical Exhibition of Medical Imaging (ITEM 2008), an academic exhibition organized as part of JRC 2008, the company will feature its microdose mammography solution, the Sectra MicroDose Mammography, which is designed to maximize image quality at the lowest radiation.

At ITEM 2008, Sectra will also feature Sectra Breast Imaging PACS, designed to efficiently streamline mammography workflow.
