NovaRad Secures New PACS Contract

May 28, 2008 - Midwest Health Partners, P.C. selected NovaRad’s NovaPACS imaging technology for its practice, bringing NovaRad’s total number of NovaPACS and NovaRIS installations in Nebraska to 20.

NovaPACS provides screen viewing and mouse-based functions, giving users access to images and reports from any computer, according to the company. Developed from the same platform as NovaPACS, NovaRIS, a Web-based, open standards RIS, generates reports, analyzes exams, measures profitability and facilitates paperless management of patient records.

NovaRIS is a Web-based, open-standards RIS that generates reports, analyzes exams, measures profitability and facilitates paperless management of patient records. NovaRIS is developed on the same platform as NovaPACS. Together, the systems enable fast retrieval of images and information from Web-enabled computers.
