NovaRad’s RIS/PACS Now Available Through an ASP Model

November 21, 2007 - NovaRad announced the availability of NovaRIS and NovaPACS through an ASP model, to help contain costs for small, budget-constrained facilities.

Images are stored on archives at NovaRad Corp.’s International Data Center near Salt Lake City, UT, and are accessed securely through a Web browser. The cost of entry requires a reportedly a low, upfront fee for set up and a per study fee. Facilities may choose the type of viewer and tech workstation that best suits their individual needs.

NovaRIS and NovaPACS run on the same open source platform to ensure integration between the two systems, according to the company.
